Solid wood lid for Eureka grinders – Our upgrade for your grinder

Upgrade your Eureka grinder with the KM solid wood lid – an in-house development that emerged from our extensive tests of Eureka grinders. This lid replaces the standard plastic lid of the bean hopper and gives your grinder not only a great look, but also improves functionality.

• Compatibility: Fits Eureka Mignon models such as Specialita, Magnifico, XL, Perfetto, Pro Brew and Eureka Libra.
• Material variety: Available in oak, walnut and MDF (black) wood types.
• Certified woods: Made from sustainable, certified woods.
• Precise dimensions: The routed groove for fitting onto the bean hopper measures 11.5 x 11.5 cm.
• Design: Features an engraved "Coffee makers" inscription. If you get tired of looking at it, you can simply flip the lid over.

Scope of delivery

The scope of delivery includes only the solid wood lid. Please note that the Eureka grinder and the bean hopper are not included in the scope of delivery.

Hand-crafted quality from Dinslaken

Our wooden lids are manufactured in our own workshop at our German location in Dinslaken. We also work closely with the Duisburg workshops, which support people with disabilities. Our master carpenter Moritz has developed the wooden lids in cooperation with Benjamin and Michel – 100% Made in the Ruhr region.

After manufacturing, the lids are hand-treated with a special oil-wax combination that is food-safe according to EURO standard 1186 part 5/14. This treatment ensures that the wooden lids are water-repellent and ideal for kitchen use.

Note: The initial oil smell will dissipate within a few days of production.

Care instructions for your wooden lid:

To ensure the beauty and longevity of your wood products, please follow these tips:

• Cleaning: Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth. The wooden lid is not dishwasher safe.
• Avoid water: Keep the lid away from sinks and standing or flowing water to prevent swelling and warping.
• Surface protection: Avoid sharp knives as they can damage the surface.
• Not a cutting board: Do not use the wooden lid as a cutting board.
• Cleaning agents: Avoid harsh cleaning products to protect the surface.
• Care: Regularly polish the lid with a microfiber cloth and apply a food-safe hard wax oil to protect the surface. After drying, wipe off the excess with a microfiber cloth.

Why a wooden lid for Eureka grinders?

The simple plastic cover of the bean hopper was no longer up to date for us. Our master carpenter Moritz has developed high-quality wooden lids together with Benjamin and Michel that are both functional and aesthetically convincing.
