Product Features of the Black Mirror Nano

• Espresso scale with 3 different modes:
• Regular Mode: manual taring and manual start of timer function - our recommendation for espresso preparation.
• Pour-over Timing Mode: After pressing the button on the front right, a 3-second countdown starts, followed by automatic taring. As soon as you pour water from the kettle onto the grounds, the timer starts automatically.
• Espresso Timer Mode: After placing a cup, the scale tares automatically. The timer starts running as soon as the first drop lands in the cup. After removing the cup, the timer stops automatically and the weight remains visible. - This mode does not support the process as we prepare espresso, since the timer does not start at the beginning of the extraction, but with the first drop in the cup. Our recommendation for espresso is Regular Mode.
• The modes are switched by pressing the button on the front left three times. Order: Regular Mode, Pour-over Timing Mode, Espresso Timer Mode.
• Additionally, you can measure the flow rate using the "Flow-Rate" button on the left side (with water droplet symbol).
• The scale has a built-in battery. Rechargeable via the included USB Type-C cable.
• Maximum weight: 2kg
• Physical ON/OFF switch.
• The cover is made of silicone and this mat can also be cleaned in the dishwasher. The scale itself is of course not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
• Only the surface of the scale is water-resistant. The charging port is NOT water-resistant.
• Rapid temperature fluctuations in the room and the immediate surroundings ( e.g. the heated espresso machine) of the scale should also be avoided, as otherwise there is a great risk that the measurement result will not match the actual value.
• If the timer is not running, the scale automatically shuts off after three minutes.
• The beep can be disabled for 5 seconds by pressing the timer button (front left).

Why We Sell the Timemore Black Mirror Nano

The Timemore Black Mirror Nano is a useful addition to our scale range. We already offer a solid espresso scale with timer function and the Timemore Black Mirror Basic 2, which is more suitable for preparing filter coffee. The Timemore Nano is a high-quality espresso scale with processing at a very good quality level, as is typical for Timemore. We were also convinced by the functions and usability directly on the espresso machine.

If you prepare exclusively filter coffee, we would recommend the Timemore Black Mirror Basic 2, as the functions are completely sufficient and the footprint is larger.
