How do I find the right filter system for me?

1. Determine the existing water quality. Two values are of particular interest here. Total hardness (dGH) and carbonate hardness (alkalinity). There are two ways to identify these values. The first is through your local water supplier, which usually provides these values on its website. The second and more precise test works very simply using a water test kit.
2. Determine water consumption. Again, there are two ways here: either you estimate the water consumption at your kitchen tap or you know how many cups of coffee you drink per day and how large your cups are in ml.
