Why do we sell these milk pitchers?

A beautifully poured design on a cappuccino brings a smile to anyone's face. That's exactly why we find Latte Art so exciting—it's a great conversation starter to learn more about the entire coffee value chain.

To pour the most beautiful design onto a cappuccino, a milk pitcher needs a precise spout and a good handle. Dario Pieber trained his Latte Art skills for many years and tested many different pitchers in the process. This pitcher was created from his insights. Dario had this Latte Art pitcher made exactly according to his specifications.

What exactly is slowpour?

Slowpour is a very special technique for pouring "pictures" onto milk drinks like cappuccino. With slowpour, you place much more foam onto the espresso crema instead of pouring it into the crema like in the classic Latte Art technique. This gives you many more options for creating complex designs.

The milk foam for slowpour doesn't differ greatly from the milk foam for classic designs. For both, we need a stretching and rolling phase when steaming, but the stretching phase for slowpour designs is significantly shorter to draw less volume into the milk.

With Dario Pieber, pouring slowpour designs looks playfully easy—this is the result of years of intensive training.
