Three Swiss entrepreneurs lease 770 hectares of land in Zambia and are now producing coffee. Is that overambitious?
What kind of people take on a project like this?
Where does the desire come from to do something that no one has done before?
And why do they do it?
I spoke with Luca and Fridolin, two of the three managing directors. Luca was in my studio in Basel, Fridolin joined via video call from Zambia.
This podcast consists of three parts:
- First, Luca and I talk about the motivation behind the Mt Sunzu Project.
- Then we hear from Fridolin about how they are implementing it technically.
- Finally, we hear from Luca again, who tells us what kind of coffee they are producing and who might buy it.
