KM Measuring Cup Stainless Steel

We use this measuring cup to weigh the amount when adjusting the coffee, portafilter machine, and grinder. A proper ratio of coffee to water is important for every coffee drink and differs significantly from espresso to filter coffee.

In this context, we also speak of coffee-to-water ratio or drink ratio. In the context of espresso, the term "Brew Ratio" is used.

58mm Variant

• Fits all 58mm baskets
• Fill capacity: maximum 140ml or 50g roasted APAS Espresso beans. This is a medium-dark roast. The fill volume depends on the density and roast of the coffee.
• Diameter of top opening: 57mm – this way the cup fits well onto a 58mm portafilter (with a little clearance for knocking out and distributing)
• The cup can basically be used with any electric grinder, but does not fit into every portafilter holder.

Why do we sell this cup?

We searched for a long time and extensively for a cup that can be used versatilely in the coffee world. What can you do with it? For adjusting electric grinders, a measuring cup is extremely practical.

And when preparing filter coffee, a measuring cup for weighing beans and ground coffee is an important tool. For espresso preparation, the cup can also be used as an intermediate container for the beans. Additionally, the cup can be placed directly over a portafilter, which prevents coffee grounds from scattering on the work surface.

Working at the coffee machine becomes easier and cleaner. We think it's great, our new little helper.
