Care Instructions for Your Hand Grinder
To keep your coffee tasting delicious in the long term and to ensure your hand grinder serves you well for years to come, you only need to follow a few simple steps.
1. Disassemble Your Hand Grinder
The hand grinder is unscrewed step by step. We recommend laying out the components in the correct order in front of you. First, remove the bean hopper, then rotate the adjustment ring toward "coarse" until the screw loosens. Now remove the loosened components one by one.
2. Cleaning with a Brush
Thoroughly clean each component with a brush. If no brush is included in the package, a painter's brush from a hardware store or an old toothbrush will also work.
3. Reassembly
Then reassemble the hand grinder in reverse order. The sequence you followed in step 1 will help you here.
Extra tip: If you have compressed air on hand, you can use it to blow out hard-to-reach corners of the hand grinder.
Grinder cleaners designed for electric coffee grinders are not necessary. We also advise against using other cleaning products or putting the grinder in the dishwasher.
If used regularly, cleaning should be performed every 2 weeks.
