WHO’S IT FOR?
The course is suitable for those already familiar with barista work wanting to consolidate their skills. Ideally the course is best taken after the Foundation Barista Course
An intensive program teaching a deeper knowledge of coffee, espresso production, milk, and key barista skills. At this level in a two-day course, we dive right into taste and flavour and how we can manipulate these using variables of Temperature, Dose, Time and Grind.

Benjamin Hohlmann is founder and CEO of Kaffeemacher GmbH. After working and living in Bolivia and studying law in Germany he became host and CEO of unternehmen mitte, the biggest coffee house in Switzerland. Benjamin ist Swiss Brewers Cup Champion 2014 and German Cup Tasters Champion 2016. He trained at unternehmen mitte more then 100 Barista in the last years. He was also trainer of the Swiss Brewers Cup Champion 2015 André Strittmatter. Benjamin is Q-Grader, studied „CAS – science and art of coffee“ at ZHAW Wädenswil. 2017 he founded Kaffeemacher GmbH as an indipendent corporation.
